Synopsis
Nim Chimpsky (1973-2000) was a chimpanzee raised as a human and taught sign language for a university research project. Almost all his former carers recall him fondly, but pretty much none of them knew what they were doing. Sometimes funny, sometimes harrowing, this doco shows how human cruelty can spring inadvertently from the most empathetic impulses.
