SYNOPSIS

It's 1951 and Sonny and Duane are high-school seniors and best friends in tiny Anarene, Texas. Duane's dating Jacy, the prettiest girl in town. Over one pivotal year, all three discover the frustrations and pleasures of smalltown life and love. The town's failing cinema underscores a closing chapter in these teenagers' lives.
