SYNOPSIS

Liverpool, 1957. John Lennon is a lost, angry teenager ricocheting between his stern guardian Aunt Mimi, his feckless mum Julia - who'd given him up when he was small - and his newfound love: rock'n'roll. We all know how this story ends, but it's an unexpectedly colourful, sensuous ride.
