SYNOPSIS

1974. Designer Saul Bass, creator of iconic movie title sequences, is about to direct his first feature, and it's... a sci-fi thriller about super-intelligent killer ants! But surprisingly, Phase IV isn't a B-grade schlockfest. Shot using real ants, it slowly builds an almost unbearably tense atmosphere of dread. A triumphant subversion of the sci-fi genre. Phase IV is part of Rooftop Cinema's Film Appreciation Night program and is hosted by The Narrows .
