Iconic buildings didn't get that way by accident. Architectural photographer Julius Shulman, who died only last year, captured the beautiful Californian modernism of Frank Lloyd Wright, Charles Eames, Pierre Koenig and more, and this documentary presents his art as a vital record of the way buildings work within landscapes and embody the hopes of generations.
